4. Are there disadvantages to using a digital stamp versus a traditional rubber stamp?
Digital stamps can be heat embossed when printed from an ink jet printer, but this technique may not work when the digis are printed from other types of printers. Depending on the ink used by your printer, you may or may not be able to watercolor your printed images. Likewise, your printer ink may or may not be compatible with alcohol-based markers. Some experimentation would be required on your part to discover which of your favorite mediums will or will not work with these stamps.
5. Do I need special computer software to use a digital stamp?
Most computers will have a basic art package which you can use to print and resize your stamps.
A print wizard will allow a simple print off without resizing
6. How should I store digital stamps?
When you purchase a digital stamp, you select a site on your computer to which the file will download. As with traditional stamps, you are more likely to use your digital stamps if you can get to them easily. I recommend creating a folder on your computer desktop to which you will save any digis you purchase.
The rest is simple once you have recieved and printed out your stamps. Get creating in whichever way you love best
